Acheson Whitley Sweeney contributed to the drafting of the British Columbia Class Proceedings Act and, in 1995, filed the first two class actions in British Columbia. Since then we have filed several class actions.

Class Actions are lawsuits in which a group of people take legal action against a wrongdoer. They give the individual the strength of numbers when taking action against defendants who often have more resources. Cases which may be too expensive or too difficult for one person can become viable when people file an action together.

If you have sustained a loss and feel that a class action may be an option please contact us.
